What an incredible experience! The fossil workshop was absolutely amazing our children were completely captivated from start to finish. They were fascinated by the hands-on learning and couldn’t stop talking about the incredible fossils they got to see and touch.
A special mention has to go to Trixie the baby dinosaur the highlight of the day! The kids were enchanted by her lifelike movements and adorable personality. She truly brought the prehistoric world to life in a way that was both magical and educational.
And of course, Darren, the workshop leader, deserves huge praise. His energy, knowledge, and passion for palaeontology were infectious. He had a fantastic way of engaging with the children, making each one feel involved and inspired.
Thank you for such a memorable and enriching experience we can’t recommend this workshop enough!

Darren from Giant Journeys came to our school to deliver a session each to our Year 4’s and Y5’s about Space. It was incredible! The children absolutely enjoyed themselves and were busy doing a task throughout the session. If they weren’t watching a video through the VR headset, they were answering questions about their knowledge of space. Would definitely recommend!

Our KS2 children were so excited at trying to discover who had stolen the missing gem! They were full of it when parents asked them about the day and learnt some great skills along the way- fingerprints, detective skills, collating data and having fun!

The children had a great Olympic Day. They were wowed by the VR experience which took them to the last Olympic games to experience the city and events. They enjoyed the competive element of the activities and using all the different equipment, particularly the timing gates.

Giant journeys visited our lower school today. Fantastic day for all children from 3 to 9 years old. Entertaining, full of interesting facts and hands on. Great artefacts.The children enjoyed meeting two dinosaurs and uncovering fossils. Both members of staff were excellent, knew how to speak to the children and ensured they got the most from the day. Highly recommend, children were buzzing with excitement.
